Elder Technology Assistance Group's Volunteer Technology Assistance Program is designed to teach seniors about technology free of charge. Providing this free service is important because using technology is an essential skill that everyone needs access to. By using modern technologies, such as a computer and the Internet, people improve their overall quality of life and connectivity with the world around them.

The success of our Volunteer Technology Assistance Program relies heavily on the devoted team of volunteers we work with.

ETAG helps seniors 55+ who either have no or little computer experience. We can also help seniors who are fairly proficient but need more assistance using things like: MS Word and Excel, Flicker, Picassa, downloading photos from a digital camera to the computer, Facebook, Google maps to get driving/travelling instructions, installing software onto a personal laptop, to name only a few :)

We help one-to-one as much as we can. On a given day, volunteers may help 1-2 clients one-to-one; or manage a small group of 3-5 with their various interests.

This is a fun and rewarding volunteer experience!

If you are able to volunteer for 1 ½ -3 hours at one of the following places/times please contact Michele.
